Young students return from school and being their work around the home. Akon Village, Sudan Students walk as far as 20 miles to reach school usually on an empty stomach. Akon Village, Sudan School children wait for their classes to begin. Akon Village, Sudan Akon Village, Sudan  My Sister's Keeper designed a special curriculum for illiterate girls and women in war torn southern Sudan where 90% of females are uneducated.  Akon Village, Sudan MSK is the first organization in Southern Sudan to train female teachers. Akon Village, Sudan. MSk hopes to provide the first generation of female leaders in southern Sudan. The school is comprised of one mud hut classroom and two outdoor spaces under trees. Akon Village, Sudan.  MSK teaches games to help build self-confidence and cooperation among peers.
